Equal Chance for Education (ECE) believes talent and determination should determine who has access to higher education. Since its founding in 2014, ECE has grown from a grassroots scholarship sparked by a single act of generosity into a statewide movement expanding college access for high-achieving, FAFSA-ineligible scholars, many of whom are immigrants or first-generation college students. Through scholarships, mentoring, and holistic support, ECE empowers scholars to enroll, persist, and graduate—creating lasting opportunities for individuals, families, and communities across Tennessee. This impact report highlights the progress made possible by our scholars, supporters, and partners, and the work that still lies ahead.
